Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I can’t believe I’m on here reviewing a mop. One of the last things I want to think about or spend money on, but here we are! I’m a single guy and don’t know squat about cleaning floor. I ordered a few different style of mops and none of them worked well and was a mess to deal with once I was finished. I have to say this Easywring Mop and bucket actually make the process a lot easier and more efficient to clean up when I’m done. I didn’t the handle would be all that sturdy since you have to snap it together, but it surprised me. It’s held up well so far even when I’m putting some elbow great behind it. I use a separate bucket for the water and cleaning solution just so I can keep the clean water separate from the dirty, but this bucket does a nice job getting the dirty water out of the mop head and collecting it for disposal later. I like the fact that the refill heads are machine washable. If one gets too dirty when I’m using it, I can pop another one on and then wash the dirty one in the meantime. Overall, it’s a slick little system and it’s a good value for the money spent. I’m as happy with as I can be with a mop and bucket. That’s saying a lot.

Customer Review: It works well. Does anyone great job removing mop water. Just tossed mop head in washer, easy to use.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: The RinseClean Spin Mop & Bucket System is an excellent product. My floors have never been cleaner. It is easy to use and the mopping water stays reasonably clean unlike single bucket sponge mopping. The system stores neatly and the ability to launder the wash heads is a plus. The spinning mechanism really works well and ends the need to ring out a dirty mop in the same bucket. The separation of the fluids facilitates the purpose in cleaning your floors. As corny as this may seem, I really look forward to washing/mopping my floors. I highly recommend this product.

Customer Review: I’m genuinely impressed with this spin mop & bucket system — and for me it’s not just “a good mop,” it’s a whole new experience of cleaning. When I used to live with my mom, cleaning meant being forced to scrub floors on my knees with old T-shirts and rags. I hated it, it was exhausting and honestly kind of traumatic. Now I live in my own apartment, and this set has completely changed the vibe. Cleaning is finally simple, fast, and even calming. I can mop my whole studio 3 times in just 1 hours (I do it every other day!) and it feels like I’m taking care of my space instead of suffering through it. The cleaning ability is excellent — it picks up dust and grime really well, and my floors look fresh and streak-free. The best part is the water separation and rinse design: I love that I can rinse the mop and wash off soap easily, without constantly reusing dirty water. It feels much more hygienic and efficient. The spinning mechanism makes it easy to control how wet the mop is, so it works great on different flooring. Quality is solid, the bucket closes/ and locks well, and I haven’t had any issues with leakage. Overall, this made cleaning feel easy and safe for me — and yes, it’s even helping me undo that old “cleaning trauma” little by little. Highly recommend. 🩵✨🧼

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: This is a great mopping system, Great concept with a Sturdy Bucket to prevent tipping. I have the round spin one, by this company and have struggled cleaning my 100 year old wood floors, with the mop head flipping upward; the flat mop head makes it so much easier, also the buckets are slimline making storage easier. The mop cloth fits well and latches/ connects securely with no problems, even after washing a few times, I have had no issues with it staying on Mop head. I bought extra mop head clothes to keep a clean mop head on mop; and wash as I go; so we always have a clean one available/ready to use. With crazy weather and pets this is a must…This system is also light weight, and non tipping, it provides enough water to clean floors and dries quickly…Great product…Would recommend and Buy Again!

Customer Review: I really like this mop system. It’s small and compact, so I can place it anywhere in my home without it being in the way or getting kicked. What I love most is that when I press down the mop, the clean water does not mix with the dirty water. Because of that, the mop doesn’t get stinky or dirty like my old ones that went back into the same dirty water. It’s very easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to fill with water. The only small downside is that the water tank is a bit small, so I have to refill it about two times to clean my two-bedroom apartment. But honestly, that’s not a big problem. It cleans really well, works great, and I also love that I can wash the mop heads in the washing machine. Overall, I’m very happy with it and I really recommend it. 😊

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: The short story is it is easy to use and works so well! I would purchase it again without a thought if i needed. Floors look amazing! The long story… I was hesitant to buy this but I really needed to get something. We have a 60 pound lab mix and just got an Irish Setter puppy. Both love going inside and outside all day. Vacuuming our house and using a hand push Bona just became impractical. (Tile downstairs and LVP upstairs, no carpet other than rugs.) I had been willing to pay the almost $1000 price tag on the Dyson Submarine, but the reviews and videos just didn’t make me a believer. (We currently have a cord and cordless Dyson so we are already brand supporters). I found that this item and the product description made sense as well as the video and reviews. The packaging was over engineered, no chance the items inside could be damaged unless run over by a bus. Assembly was very easy, it was pretty much already fully put together. I can’t say anything about the cleaning samples they sent, I have just been using water or water with a small touch of vinegar, but there were 3 that came with it. But my floors!!! Wow!!! I wet the mop heads before use with water and when I turn this on it simply glides over the tile floors. The amount of fluid you squirt while cleaning will lengthen drying time but my tile dries in about 2-10 minutes. The LVP I am more judicious with the spray so it dries faster, more like 1-2 minutes. The dogs walk around on the floors before the water dries but I never see prints when dry (tile and LVP are a faux wood plank, walnut color.) The mop heads are white when you get them but they certainly won’t stay that color. The first use amazed me in how much dirt and dust we had… like ewe^10. After one use and a wash in the washer they were a light gray. After using them weekly for about three months they have settled into a nice medium gray tone after going through the washer. It amazes me how dirty these two dogs and two people can be! But my floors look and feel amazing. I do vacuum the floors first, then use the Bissel. For my downstairs (1000 square feet) I am done in about 30-45 minutes. Upstairs there are more items to move around as well as closets and bathrooms to go in and out of. I would say upstairs (1000 square feet) is more like 45 – 60 minutes. Again, those times include vacuum and mop use as well as dry time.) It comes with two or three sets of mop heads I think, but I bought extra so that I could trade them out as they got dirty and get a couple with more umph at scrubbing if needed. (Have not needed the scrubbers yet.) I use 2-3 sets downstairs since that is higher traffic and can usually get away with just one, sometimes 2, upstairs. They are velcro and I haven’t had any issues with them coming off during use so far. The soft side of the velcro is on the mop head so they don’t snag on things in the washer. I am 💯 in love with this product. I won’t say I look forward to cleaning, but I do love how clean the floors feel to walk on after I am done. My husband is a super fan of the product as well!!! My dogs, the jury is still out with them. Added benefit – our puppy was smart and potty trained pretty easily. But there were accidents for the first few months. We got this item when she was about 2 1/2 months old, but the main room we kept her in had a little urine smell to it. After using this product for a couple weeks the smell was gone completely.

Customer Review: This is the best product I’ve owned. I will never go back to a regular mop where I have to actually “work” again, haha! This was so simple to put together – I actually used my own non toxic floor cleaner and mixed it with water and it cleaned just as well! Definitely recommend

  • Sturdy build quality from O-Cedar

Cons:
  • Handle can be tricky to extend for some users
  • Mop head may flip if not positioned correctly
  • Bucket lacks water separation feature

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: My last spin-type mop was purchased many years ago from QVC and I loved it! However, the pedal on the bucket just broke and I needed to replace it. The O-Cedar mop fits the bill. The great thing is that my old mop can be used with this new bucket, as well as the mop that came with it. That gives me some options! I cannot believe how this bucket really spins so much of the water out of the mop! The trick is to not hold the mop tight and just let it go! Does a better than my old bucket. I have hardwood floors and like to wet mop it occasionally in between using Bona w/special mop. These floors cannot get too wet because it will ruin them, so this mop works great! BTW, for those posting that they can’t get the mop dry enough, it’s a matter of just setting the mop head in the bucket, hold the upper part of the mop handle lightly (actually, just guide it without really grabbing onto it), and then pump the bucket lever with your foot 2-3 times. It’s that simple and it’s amazing how much water is spun out of the mop head! Many of the negative comments indicate problems with keeping the mop extended. I notice the mop was a bit tricky when I first added the upper part and it wouldn’t stay in place. So, I removed the end cap (red hanging piece) and then grabbed the lower and upper parts of the rod and TWISTED IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS UNTIL IT LOCKED IN PLACE. It worked perfectly! Then I put the red cap piece back on and have absolutely no problems with it at all! It’s tall enough for me (5’7″ and my husband 6’0′). Also, some complaints have been made about the mop head being hard to manipulate, not thick enough, etc. What I’ve learned from using this type of mop in the past (different manufacturer) is to make sure the mop head is placed flat on the floor with the threads/ropes splayed out evenly and using a side swipe method. This works very well on my hardwood and tile floors. The triangle part is nice for getting into the corners. Also, some people have made comments that it doesn’t go behind toilets and that isn’t my experience. It goes easily behind my three toilets, but, to be honest, I clean that area every time I clean the toilets so I’m not depending on the the mop being my sole source of cleaning those areas. It’s a nice mop and bucket and the price isn’t that bad. A reviewer also mentioned that using the same water to wash and rinse is not the way to go, but that isn’t an issue as far as I’m concerned. I use vinegar with the water, squish the mop really good in the water before spinning, and I feel that my floors are clean. Vacuuming/sweeping before mopping makes a HUGE difference and even with two cats (and they are slobs), this keeps my floors really clean. I just don’t understand all the negative comments.

Customer Review: Best mops ever. Great because you can remove and wash the head to keep a clean mop between uses. Nice with the foot pedal to ring it out while using.

Complete Buying Guide for Manual Spin Mop

Essential Factors We Consider

When choosing a manual spin mop, focus on water separation systems, wringer type, handle adjustability, and mop head material. Water separation is key for hygiene—look for dual-tank designs that keep clean and dirty water apart. Wringers can be pedal-based or push-handle; pedals keep hands clean, while push models might wring drier. Handle length should match your height to avoid back strain. Microfiber heads are standard—opt for dense, absorbent ones that are machine-washable. Also, consider bucket size: larger buckets mean fewer refills but more weight when full. Wheel design matters too; 360° swivel wheels navigate obstacles easily. For versatile cleaning, flat mops excel at baseboards, while traditional round heads cover floors well. Always check compatibility with your floor types—sealed wood, tile, and laminate are usually safe.

Budget Planning

Manual spin mops range from $30 to $80. Budget models around $30-$40 offer basic wringing and may lack water separation. Mid-range ($40-$60) often includes water separation and better materials. Premium models ($60+) feature advanced separation, durable builds, and extra heads. Factor in long-term costs: washable heads save money vs. disposables. If you mop frequently, invest in a mid-to-high-end model for durability and hygiene. For occasional use, a budget pick with good reviews suffices. Remember, a higher upfront cost can reduce replacement expenses over time.

Final Thoughts

A great manual spin mop transforms mopping from a chore to a quick, hygienic task. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How does a manual spin mop differ from a traditional mop?

A: A manual spin mop uses centrifugal force to spin out excess water from the mop head, giving you control over moisture levels. Traditional mops require manual wringing, which can be messy and less effective at removing water. Spin mops also often feature separate clean/dirty water systems for better hygiene.

Q: Can I use any cleaning solution with a spin mop?

A: Most spin mops work with plain water, but you can add mild floor cleaners. Avoid harsh chemicals that might damage microfiber heads. Always check the manufacturer’s recommendations. For bacterial removal, some models like O-Cedar RinseClean work effectively with just water.

Q: How often should I wash the mop heads?

A> Machine-wash microfiber heads after 2-3 uses, or immediately if used on sticky spills. Use mild detergent without fabric softener to maintain absorbency. Air-dry or tumble dry low. Regular washing prevents odor and bacteria buildup.

Q: Are spin mops safe for all hard floors?

A: Yes, most are safe on sealed wood, tile, laminate, and vinyl. Always test in an inconspicuous area first. Avoid unfinished wood or waxed surfaces. The controlled moisture from spin mops is gentler than traditional wet mopping.

Q: What’s the lifespan of a spin mop?

A: With proper care, the bucket can last 3-5 years. Mop heads typically need replacement every 3-6 months depending on use. Stainless steel components enhance durability. Handle mechanisms may wear out first, so check warranties.

After reviewing these top manual spin mops, it’s clear that the right choice depends on your specific needs—whether it’s space-saving design, superior wringing, or advanced water separation.
