While it’s a Cetaphil brand product, these wipes do NOT have a milky Cetaphil cleanser feel (for those of you who don’t like Cetaphil). The wipes are moistened well and are unscented. They leave no oily film or dryness for me. In the past I’ve used petroleum jelly or other oily eye makeup removers and have never liked the oily residue on my eyes. I use these wipes to remove eye makeup. Washable mascara comes off easily by wiping the eyelashes once or twice. It takes more effort to remove undereye concealer and eyeliner: hold the wipe on the area for a few seconds before making a wiping motion. With the lack of residue from the wipe, I think it’s even possible to redo your eye makeup if you need to soon after using the wipe. Tip: When applying my makeup I have one wipe on the counter ready to clean my fingertips or to moisten a QTip to remove wet mascara that’s ended up on my eyelid.
