Customer Reviews
Customer Review: This thing is amazing! I vacuum carpets weekly and could never get them to their original fluffiness also thinking that vacuuming helped with hair and dust removal. This rubber broom really helped, and lifted up hair and dust that I didn’t even know was on the carpet. Sturdy & easy to assemble.
Customer Review: This was a “why not try it purchase” and ended up loving it. This works great to get stuck animal hair out of the carpet for the vacuum to suck it all up but I love it for wet scrubbing. Floor cleaner plus water mixed in a sprayer bottle plus this for my kitchen floors is great. It even scrubs the grout lines between the tiles! Squeegee all the water to one spot, clean wipe up with a paper towel and toss. I use it on my shower walls too (tile to the ceiling- I’m 5’3) This reaches all the way to the top for me to scrub then squeegee. Wrap a towel around it and wipe it all down. Easiest clean ever. Would buy again and again.
2. 2-in-1 Rubber Broom
This 2-in-1 rubber broom impresses with its swivel head, allowing effortless gliding under furniture and into tight corners. The non-scratch silicone bristles are gentle yet effective on all surfaces, while the integrated squeegee handles wet messes. The sturdy, one-piece metal handle (no telescoping) provides durability and a comfortable length for most users, making it a reliable daily cleaner.
Key Features That Stand Out

✓ Non-scratch silicone bristles safe for delicate floors
✓ Built-in squeegee for wet/dry cleaning
✓ One-piece sturdy metal handle (no wobble)
✓ Slanted bristle design enhances debris collection
Why We Recommend It
The swivel head is a game-changer for cleaning under beds and sofas without moving heavy furniture. We appreciate the solid metal handle—it doesn’t flex or detach during use, which is a common issue with telescoping models. The silicone bristles are also easier to clean than traditional rubber, and the squeegee works great on tile and hardwood.
Best For
Homes with low-clearance furniture and users who prioritize a sturdy, wobble-free handle. It’s ideal for those who want a durable broom that won’t bend or break, especially on hard floors and low-pile carpets.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Swivel head effortlessly reaches under furniture
- One-piece metal handle is extremely sturdy and stable
- Silicone bristles are gentle on all surfaces and easy to rinse
- Effective on both pet hair and general dust
Cons:
- Handle length is fixed—not adjustable for very tall or short users
- Slightly heavier than telescoping models
- Squeegee edge may not be as wide as dedicated squeegees
Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I love my RAVMAG Silicone Rubber Broom! LOVE. It.I like that the handle is one long piece of sturdy metal instead of telescoping or flimsy, which, as I’ve read in reviews of similar products, can result in an annoying separation of the handle parts during cleaning and denting of the handle body.At this price point ($39.95), I was looking for something of high quality: well-built and with a very long handle so I would not get back pain from having to stoop to use it. It meets those requirements. I’m 5’5″. When resting the broom on the floor (with broom head attached to handle) the end of the broom handle touches the middle of my chin. Perfecto! The silicone broom head comes separately in the same box. You can use it like that – in a hand-held fashion – on, say, couch cushions, then screw it on to the long red handle and use it on your floors.Once the head is attached to the handle the connection is strong and did not loosen at all in the two hours I used the broom. (I’ll be using it A LOT more, but just received it a few days ago.)As for hair pickup, which is what I bought it for, it does an astounding job. We do not have pets; just me who, regrettably, sheds long strands of hair on a daily basis; and several short- to medium- length haired, bearded men who live with me. It picked up both types of hair from my sofa and floors, but most of what was gathered was my very long hair. It appears to create static electricity on the floor and attracts dust and hair like a magnet.I used it on low and medium pile carpets, and on hard floors (tile, wood laminate, and hardwood). I particularly loved it on our hardwood stairs! They are a dark wood and and show lint and dust particles like crazy. Have to sweep them daily or they look awful. I can’t believe how much gathers in the crevices and corners of those steps! After running the RAVMAG Silicone Broom along each step, I collected an almost 3/4″ deep pile of fuzz and dust after the first use. The results from the silicone broom blew my traditional acrylic bristle broom out of the water! When I sweep the stairs with my acrylic bristle broom there are always dust particles and fuzzies left behind. The silicone broom left NOTHING behind. Hoorah!Cleaning the silicone broom bristles is pretty easy. I wear a rubber glove and grab the hair out by hand, but most of the hair collected is left on the floor in a tidy pile if you continually make little piles as you work. You can also rinse it off with water, but I would only do that outside. I don’t like the idea of washing hair down the kitchen sink. Grosses me out. You can do whatever you like, of course. After pulling the hair free from the bristles, I sprayed the broom head with a disinfecting spray, let it set for several minutes, then rinsed it off with clear water. This thing was really fun to use. I worked for a solid hour before taking a break because it was so productive and fun. Kept calling to my husband and sons to come look to see what it picked up! We were all amazed and delighted. DE-lighted. Delighted to the point of giddiness. Happy customer here.
Customer Review: This broom works really well. I got it because of the swiveling head and I’m so glad I did. I got it under furniture that other brooms couldn’t get under. The adjustable length handle is another plus.
3. Walensee 2-in-1 Rubber Broom

✓ 2-in-1 design with nylon and rubber bristles
✓ Adjustable stainless steel handle (up to 61 inches)
✓ Includes two brush heads for versatility

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I bought this broom to remove pet hair in my one bedroom apartment. We lived here for one year with a shedding dog a cat. We own a vacuum but it can barely pick up a popcorn kernel in 10 passes let alone deal with pet hair. The only somewhat worthwhile tool I had to deal with it all was actually getting on my hands and knees and actually brushing the carpet with a pet grooming brush, which was exhausting and rough on the carpet. I also was very afraid to buy a whole new vacuum and spend hundreds of dollars on something that might just clog up and break when faced with all the hair we had here. So I started looking into carpet brooms and rakes. At least if it didn’t work, I’d only be out 20 or 30 dollars, tops. There are other carpet rakes and carpet brooms out there that use metal tines, and while I appreciated the sturdy look of it, I noted the reviewers that had issues with the rakes ‘jumping’ or catching on the carpet. I haven’t tried and of the metal carpet rakes, and I don’t think I will, since this broom is exactly what I needed. Other products may be effective, but I know with certainty that this one is. I chose this broom because it is marketed specifically as a fur remover and because of the positive reviews describing it, so I’m here to add one more.Like other reviews have noted, this broom is at it’s most effective on pet hair when the rubber blade is used, as opposed to the rubber bristles. I was very, very skeptical that the solution to my pet hair problem was something as ludicrous as squeegeeing my carpet, but the results are undeniable. The bristle side does a bit of hair removal, but it often tosses hair out of the way or into the air. I find it’s best to use the blade side, and then once everything is clean, to ‘fluff’ the carpet with the bristles. It makes it look very new and fresh. It’s important to note that while this is very effective and very cheap, it’s not a miracle. Using this broom on carpet does take a measure more energy than sweeping a smooth floor. As a healthy 24 year old, this did tire me out after 20-30 minutes of work. If you are not fully able-bodied, or just aren’t looking to work that hard to save the money, a powerful vacuum cleaner may still be your wisest choice. Also, most non-hair objects will be bounced around by this broom rather than sweeping them up into a pile. In an odd way I was fortunate that all the hair I swept actually trapped a lot of other things inside it as I swept, but you’re likely still going to need a vacuum cleaner to take care of the rest. Personally, I plan to purchase a small 20 dollar shop-vac as a companion to this broom, especially because right now I have to just pick up the wads of hair with my hands. The picture I’ve attached is what I swept from only about a quarter of my apartment. I lured my 40 pound dog into posing next to the hair I extracted for scale and for humorous effect. I also attached a before and after picture of a small section of carpet under my desk. This should highlight the improvement in hair (And even some other debris) removal, as well as how the bristles where able to easily fluff back up a section of carpet that had been pressed down over many months by a heavy metal power strip.Note that in the ‘after’ picture you can notice some hair still at the baseboard. This is just because It’s difficult for me to reach under my desk, and not because there’s any difficulty the broom itself has getting close to objects.I hope this gives anyone curious a full run-through of what the broom is actually capable of.
Customer Review: I use this for my carpets and bathroom/area rugs for cat hair/human hair general cleaning and it works fantastically! I’ve also come to grab this broom over a bristle broom for all sweeping jobs on tile in bathroom and kitchen every day! I love the short, easy to clean rubber ends. It gets every crumb, hair, cat hair, etc. up very well. It’s also very light weight. Amazing how it attracts the debris up great! It makes especially my shaggy bath mat look fresh and new again between washings. One thing that I absolutely LOVE about this rubber broom set is for two screened in porches. At one of our AirBnBs we have a screened in porch that blows in leaves debris, corners catch pet/human hair that has cement floors. Then I use it at home on a 3 season porch also with wooden floors. I can’t tell you how much easier it is to catch all the “outside junk” like sand, dirt, little cobwebs, hair etc that so much more easily blows in and gets in the corners because of the screens/pets going in and out-than it is with a seemingly magnetic rubber broom because it’s absolutely disgusting to me to have to try to sweep with a regular bristle broom! You have to then CLEAN THE GROSS BRISTLES TOO! It’s so nasty! Picking hair and fur off the long bristles. So this is so much easier to clean the little bristles, plus you can easily hose it off wash it up outside, and let it air dry. I am so glad I got this set. I like the little broom too. I use it for the furniture to clean. You can use it on your cat. My cat Coco ADORES getting groomed with the little brush. It’s like he’s in heaven! Maybe it feels like when his Mama used to groom him? Not sure but he loves it and it does a great job on his coat. Nice and smooth. Also if he has any eye goobers I want to wipe clean, he usually blocks me with his front legs then his back legs. He may do a little lunge forward with his head, but after a minute he just jumps down or walks away from me. I can’t stand when a kitty has something wet or goopy under their eye that needs cleaned off! It drives me nuts! When I start combing him with this particular rubber brush it sends him into such a deep, calm reverie, that his defenses go to zero,(he’s so still and willing to let me clean his eye corners) and I easily can get to his eyes to wipe/clean them after only a couple minutes of brushing especially around his head/chin. It’s that relaxing! But I have to clean them quickly or he’ll start blocking me again. Highly recommended.
5. FURemover Original Rubber Broom
This is the original FURemover model, very similar to the Plus version but with a slightly shorter 58-inch handle (adjustable from 34 to 58 inches). It features the same electrostatic rubber bristles and squeegee for wet/dry use. It’s a proven performer for pet hair on carpets and hard floors, though it shares the same physical demands as other carpet-focused models.
Key Features That Stand Out
✓ 12.5-inch wide electrostatic rubber bristle head
✓ Adjustable 58-inch telescoping handle (34″-58″)
✓ Built-in squeegee for liquid spills
✓ Effective on carpets, tile, and hardwood
✓ Lightweight and easy to store
Why We Recommend It
As the original design, this broom has a long track record of success with pet owners. The rubber blade is exceptionally good at gathering hair from carpets, and the squeegee adds versatility. It’s a straightforward, no-nonsense tool that does one job very well.
Best For
Shoppers who want the classic FURemover design at a slightly lower price point than the Plus model. It’s perfect for dedicated pet hair removal on carpets, especially in homes with medium to low pile carpeting.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Proven effectiveness for pet hair on carpets
- Rubber blade gathers hair efficiently
- Adjustable handle for comfort
- Includes squeegee for added functionality
Cons:
- Physically demanding on thick carpets
- Slightly shorter handle than some competitors
- Bristle side less effective than blade for hair

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: This interesting concept of a broom is the most amazing tool in my estimation. I used it on my hardwood floor that I just swept with a conventional broom and discovered lint and debris that the broom didn’t clean. And the handy little dust broom and catcher is the best at picking up that pesky little line of dirt that others leave behind.. I have two of these brooms – one I bought in a discount store and the duo from Amazon! Get it from Amazon as the broom handle is longer. It’s so lightweight that I can pick it up with two fingers. Get it you won’t regret it! Cleans tile, wood or laminate flooring and RUGS! Very versatile ! Make sure to stand it with the rubber blade up so it doesn’t warp.
Customer Review: It’s a great broom and picks up stuff other brooms don’t. My only issue was the difficulty of putting the handle on the broom head. The plastic is VERY hard to push in to attach and I had to resort to pliers.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Love these squeegee. The handle could be a little more rugged but it does the job.
Customer Review: Overall this squeegee is handy for light work on flat surfaces. It comes in segments which allows you to break it down easily and resize. The handle is not super rigid due to the multiple segments so you do have to be careful how much pressure you put on it. We’ve tested on our pool deck / stamped concrete and it trends to snag there but on flat or smooth surfaces it worked fine and cleans up crumbs and liquids. It also seemed ok on our garage floor which was smoother. It’s not heavy duty but can come in handy for specific use cases.Pros:- compact and easy to use ok smooth surfaces- lightweight- includes long handle, smaller squeegee head and mop attachment- flexible neckCons:- not heavy duty- snags on rough surfaces- larger squeegee attachment could be wider to cover more surface area

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I bought this rubber broom to try to revive and extend the life of old builder’s grade carpeting, as well as better prepare the carpet for rug shampooing.I don’t have pets, so pet hair wasn’t the issue. It took some elbow grease, but this rubber broom helped tremendously! Vacuumed the carpet before and after testing it out, and my vacuum was able pick up much more ground in dirt after using the rubber broom. The carpet looked much better, and became much softer underfoot, too.I then followed up with a carpet rake (bought both online; wasn’t sure which would work better), again vacuumed, and got up still more ground in dirt – and the carpet got even softer.I hadn’t intended to keep both items; just wasn’t sure which would work better for my needs, since so many reviews focus only on pet hair removal. I’m keeping both, because I think they work hand in hand: the rubber broom as the workhorse, then the carpet rake for the ‘finishing touch.’Before purchasing and using this broom, I thought my old carpet was likely beyond salvaging – but it looks good again! The rubber broom preps the carpet well for vacuuming and carpet shampooing as well.I can’t speak to its durability, since I’ve only used it a few times so far, but it seems well made.A bit pricey, but worth it for helping loosen dirt and allergens from the carpet for deeper cleaning and better indoor environment, while extending the life and appearance of my carpet.

Complete Buying Guide for Best Rubber Broom
Essential Factors We Consider
When choosing a rubber broom, focus on bristle type (solid rubber vs. silicone), handle material (metal for durability, telescoping for adjustability), and multi-functionality (squeegee, dustpan). Consider your primary use: pet hair removal on carpets needs a robust rubber blade, while wet spill cleanup requires a high-quality squeegee edge. Also, check if the broom is safe for your floor types—some rubber bristles are gentler on hardwood. Weight and ease of assembly matter too, especially for users with mobility issues. For car owners, look for brooms that work well on garage floors and complement custom-fit car seat covers for full interior protection.
Budget Planning
Rubber brooms range from $15 to $40. Budget models ($15-$25) like the Walensee offer basic functionality but may lack durability. Mid-range ($25-$35) options such as the MR.SIGA provide 3-in-1 versatility and adjustable handles. Premium models ($35-$40) like the Fuller Brush feature dense bristles and premium builds. Assess how often you’ll use it—heavy pet shedding justifies a higher-end model, while occasional spills might only need a budget pick.
Final Thoughts
A good rubber broom is a versatile, eco-friendly alternative to disposable lint rollers and bulky vacuums. It excels at pet hair, dust, and wet messes, often outperforming traditional brooms. By considering your specific needs—floor types, pet load, and wet/dry use—you can pick a broom that becomes a daily cleaning essential. Don’t underestimate the power of electrostatic rubber; it’s a simple technology that delivers impressive results.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are rubber brooms better than vacuums for pet hair?
A: Rubber brooms excel at gathering embedded pet hair from carpets without scattering it, often pulling up more than a vacuum. However, they don’t suction debris into a container, so you’ll still need to sweep up the collected hair. For deep cleaning, a vacuum is still useful, but a rubber broom is a great supplement, especially for quick touch-ups.
Q: Can I use a rubber broom on wet floors?
A: Yes, most rubber brooms have a squeegee side designed for wet spills. The rubber bristles are also safe on wet surfaces, but ensure the broom is dried after use to prevent mildew. Models like the Helio AirBroom and FURemover are particularly good for wet/dry tasks.
Q: How do I clean and maintain my rubber broom?
A: Rinse the bristles with water after use, especially if cleaning pet hair or sticky spills. For deep cleaning, use mild soap and a brush to remove debris. Store the broom upright with bristles facing up to avoid warping. Avoid harsh chemicals that can degrade rubber.
Q: Will a rubber broom scratch my hardwood floors?
A: No, rubber bristles are non-scratch and safe for all hard floors, including hardwood, laminate, and tile. However, avoid using excessive pressure on delicate finishes, and test on an inconspicuous area first if concerned.
Q: What’s the difference between rubber and silicone bristles?
A: Rubber bristles are softer and better for gathering fine dust and hair via electrostatic action. Silicone bristles are more durable, scrub better on grout, and are easier to rinse clean. Silicone may be slightly more aggressive on very soft carpets.
