Customer Reviews
I’m using this HUANUO monitor arm with my Alienware AW3425DW (34 inch ultrawide), and it handles it perfectly. Setup was simple, and the arm feels solid with zero wobble once tightened. The gas spring adjustment took a minute to get right for the monitor’s weight, but once balanced, it moves smoothly and stays exactly where I want it. Cable management is clean, the clamp is secure on my desk, and the overall look is sleek. I was a little unsure if it could support a heavier ultrawide like the AW3425DW, but it’s been completely stable. No sagging, no slipping, just solid performance. If you need a reliable, affordable mount that can hold a large monitor, this one works great.
I was super impressed with the quality of this. I haven’t used many monitor arms, so I don’t have much to compare it to, but for the price this seems great. It was fairly easy to put together and comes with directions, it has all the tools needed in the box. It’s heavy (in a good way), and the gas element was easy to adjust with the included tool. Read the directions, they don’t recommend adjusting it until the weight of the monitor is on it for safety. I was okay, but I did start messing with it before attaching the monitor and apparently that’s not a good idea. I used the clamp attachment, and it felt very solid. It does require having a desk/table that can accommodate it, but I would recommend it. There is an option for a screw in attachment, but you’d need a hole so it might require some drilling. Once set-up, the monitor had a great range of movement and it felt nice to use. For the price, this feels like a no brainer if you need a monitor arm.

Customer Reviews
For the value it is incredibly stable. I’ve used other arm mounts in the past, and the stability of this one really can’t be matched for this value. It currently supports a 32 inch pc monitor, and has supported it with zero issue. Hardware included, and was put together in maybe 5 minutes.
TLDR: Experienced installer, and I chose this mount for my personal office for its ease of installation and its sturdiness. For any monitor mounting operation, careful thought and planning is required, and this mount solves more headaches than is causes. I read over several reviews of this product prior to purchase. I’ve seen many that offer criticism of their sturdiness and various other features, but I feel most of them are unfounded. My first purchase was for work… about 20 of the shorter dual monitor mount by the same company. When we installed them, they easily held the 32 and 27 inch monitor pairs we were attaching to them. Mounting any monitor of this size can be difficult, but with a little patience, all 40 monitors were mounted, aligned and ready to go. After installation, they were quite well fixed in place, and we have had no problems in the year since we bought them. No signs of joints getting weaker, or mounts leaning over or any of that in all that time. Of course, when it came time to by for my home setup, I looked for the same company. I bought 2 of these mounts, which are higher, so that I could elevate 2 heavier 24 inch monitors above an ultra-wide monitor which will reside below. Even at their highest setting, which provides the most stress to the mount, I found them to be quite firm in their support. When I wiggle my desk (within reason) I get no more than 1/4th to 1/2 of an inch in deflection; nothing that appears dangerous. And trust me, there is no way I would mount 2 cheap monitors over my quite expensive ultra wide monitor if I did not feel they were sturdy enough. A couple tips on setting them up. Do NOT place anything in the clamp other than the surface of your desk. If you are worried about marring your desk, you likely should be looking for a floor or wall mount. The rubber grommet included for inside the clamp is not meant to protect your desk, but rather to act as a shock absorber to the system. It will provide some protection to the top surface, but do you really want to be clamping something to a really expensive desk? If you install it, and your mount is leaning, you either did not tighten it enough (this one will squeeze to nothing if adjusted right) or your desk is not sturdy enough to hold the mount. When properly adjusted, a gentle shake of the desk should cause a slight rocking, but nothing should be out of place when they stop. Attach the monitor to the mounting plate, but do not attach the mounting plate to the extension arm until after the extension arm is attached to the vertical support. It says the opposite in the instructions, but if you lock the extension arm in place firmly, it is safer and easier to do it my way. I did knock off one star on the range of movement. Each joint allows only a 90 degree bend. This somewhat limits some of your options, but should not preclude any use case you might have in mind. It just means you might have to think about it a bit as you install it. I did not feel this affects the use of the mount enough to have it affect the overall rating. In fact, it likely is a trade off which contributes to the sturdiness of the mount. This mount does provide a reasonable throw, which is the length of the extension arm in this case. If you need more than this one provides, you likely need to look at a spring loaded mount. Throw in this case is the horizontal distance a mount can place the center of the monitor from the mounting location. Besides sturdiness, the ease of installation is of note. I’ve mounted hundreds of monitors and this one is quite strait forward. You have enough factors going for an installation, and extra doodads that provide little function are not appreciated. This one fits the bill nicely. This extends to the cable control devices, which are critical if you don’t want to slice a cable in half. All in all, a good, but simple mount with reasonable throw and good sturdy construction. A++

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ Great Value Dual‑Monitor Ergonomics with a Couple of Caveats ✔️ Highlights • Smooth, Flexible Motion The gas‑spring arms offer effortless adjustability—tilt (about ±90° pivot, ~35° forward/back), swivel (~180°), rotation (360°), and height changes feel seamless and ergonomic. You can switch between landscape and portrait modes easily. • Solid Build for Its Price Made from aluminum/alloy steel, it comfortably holds two 13–32″ monitors (each up to ~19–22 lbs). Many users report no wobble even when fully extended. • Versatile Mounting Options You can use either the C‑clamp (compatible with desks up to ~3.5″ thick) or the grommet mount (~1.6″ max)—excellent flexibility depending on your desk style. • Tidy Desk with Cable Management Integrated cable clips help route wires along the arms for a cleaner setup—though thicker cables can be a struggle. • Ergonomic Benefits Elevating your screens helps reduce neck and shoulder strain. Most users say their posture and productivity improved significantly. ⚠️ Things to Consider • Setup Can Be Finicky Many users describe the instructions as confusing or poorly translated, making prep work slow. Following a video tutorial is helpful. Tightening all joints thoroughly is essential to avoid wobbling. • Some Wobble with Heavy / Extended Setup When using 32″ or heavier monitors, or screens pushed far outward, users report mild swaying or sagging. This seems to be tied to tension settings and extension length. • Cable Clips Are Tight The covers that snap onto the arms are small and tricky to install, especially with thicker cables. You may need longer Allen keys or some patience. • Needs Desk Clearance Behind Due to its vertical arm structure, the mount requires about 9–10″ clearance from the wall to let you reposition monitors comfortably—especially on desks pushed against a wall. 💬 What Real Users Say “The cable routing/management on it isn’t great … it isn’t as rock solid as I would like and there’s a little wiggle at times. That said, to get something better, you’d be spending 10x as much.” — Reddit user on a large‑screen setup “The monitors move and rotate easily despite their weight. Assembly was trivial and all the tools I needed came in the package.” — Valid user review praising smooth use after setup 📋 Pros & Cons ✅ Pros ⚠️ Cons Smooth gas‑spring movement & ergonomic range Setup instructions can be unclear; assembly takes time Affordable yet strong—holds up to 32″ or ~20 lb per arm May wobble under heavy load or extended arms Dual mounting options (clamp or grommet) Cable management bits are small and fiddly Cleaner desk footprint, better posture Requires significant space behind desk for movement 🧠 Final Verdict The HUANUO Dual Monitor Stand offers stellar ergonomics and adjustability at a budget-friendly price. If you’re setting up two moderately sized monitors (13–27″) and crave flexibility, it’s a top contender. Just ensure your desk meets the thickness requirements, allow clearance behind it, and be ready to snugly tighten all joints during setup. For the price, you really can’t ask for much more—especially once it’s dialed in.

Ordered on a whim, Wasnt sure if i was going to like this rig but i figured ill give it a shot. Arrived about 4 hours after i placed my ordered and after putting it together and setting it up i was very surprised. Its currently holding my Samsung 27 inch monitor and it is rock solid and has a very firm hold when adjusting the angle and adjusting the height is as simple as flipping the lever on the back and adjust and your done, Once youve set it just throw the set screw in the back for the extra hold ( NOT needed). Compared to my other mount holding my 32″ monitor? This one is more compact. easier to adjust and holds my monitor is place where i set it better, plus its about 35$ cheaper. I Will be ordering another 1 for my 32″ Monitor
I got this product preowned for $10 cheaper and it was so worth it! I had no problems and everything was in the box. The monitor stand works great and the instructions were easy to follow. Customer Reviews
I gotta say. I was very impressed with how durable and sturdy this mount is for the price. Set up was easy. Love it so far. I like that it even gives you the option to mount it through the desk if you have a whole for it.
Mounting my 27‑inch monitor on the MOUNTUP gas‑spring arm instantly transformed both my workspace and posture. Assembly was refreshingly foolproof: tighten the heavy‑duty clamp to the back edge, snap the VESA plate onto the screen, and pop the arm into the base—total setup time was maybe fifteen minutes, Allen keys included. Once installed, the gas spring glides like a studio boom; with one fingertip I can raise the display for standing sessions, pull it forward for detail work, or pivot it 90° to portrait mode for coding marathons, and it stays locked exactly where I leave it. The built‑in tension adjustment dial let me fine‑tune the lift so the arm floats my 14‑pound monitor weightlessly, and the full 360‑degree rotation makes sharing the screen on Zoom calls as simple as a gentle spin. Cable management was clearly an afterthought on my old stand but is front‑and‑center here—the snap‑on channels hide every cord, so the desk surface finally looks photo‑ready, and the black powder‑coat finish blends seamlessly with my peripherals. After three weeks of daily use, I already feel the ergonomic payoff: no more hunching or stack‑of‑books risers, and my neck and shoulders thank me every evening. The freed‑up real estate beneath the monitor now fits my notebook, phone dock, and coffee mug with room to spare, effectively doubling my usable workspace. Whether you’re battling desk clutter, chasing the perfect viewing angle, or just want a mount that feels as solid and adjustable as units twice the price, the MOUNTUP arm delivers five‑star performance across the board.
Complete Buying Guide for Monitor Arm For Desk
Essential Factors We Consider
Choosing the right monitor arm involves several key factors. First, compatibility is crucial: check your monitor’s size, weight, and VESA pattern (usually 75x75mm or 100x100mm). Second, consider the type of adjustment—gas spring arms offer the smoothest, most effortless movement, while spring or lever arms are more basic. Third, think about mounting options: most use a C-clamp that fits over the desk edge, but some offer grommet mounts for desks with holes. Also, evaluate build quality and stability—a wobbly arm defeats the purpose. Finally, cable management features can keep your setup tidy. We tested each arm for stability, ease of adjustment, installation process, and value.
Budget Planning
Monitor arms range from $25 for basic models to $200+ for premium heavy-duty ones. For most users with standard 24-32 inch monitors, a reliable gas spring arm costs between $40 and $80. If you have an ultrawide or very heavy monitor, budget $80-$150 for a high-capacity model. Dual monitor arms typically cost more, around $80-$200. Remember that a good monitor arm is an investment in your comfort and productivity—it pays off in reduced strain and a cleaner workspace. Don’t just go for the cheapest; consider long-term durability.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I know if my monitor is compatible with a monitor arm?
A: Check your monitor’s VESA pattern (the four mounting holes on the back). Most modern monitors support 75x75mm or 100x100mm. Also, verify the monitor’s weight is within the arm’s capacity. Measure your screen size diagonally. The product description will list compatible sizes and weights.
Q: Will a monitor arm damage my desk?
A: Not if installed correctly. C-clamp arms have rubber pads to protect the desk edge. Grommet mounts require a hole in the desk but are very secure. Avoid over-tightening clamps on delicate surfaces. For expensive desks, consider a desk grommet or a freestanding monitor stand instead.
Q: Can I use a monitor arm with a curved ultrawide monitor?
A: Yes, many arms support ultrawides up to 49 inches. Look for models with high weight capacity (30+ lbs) and a sturdy gas spring. The WALI GSM001XLN and VIVO STAND-V001 are excellent for large curved screens. Ensure the arm’s reach is sufficient to position the monitor comfortably.
Q: How much desk space does a monitor arm actually save?
A: A typical monitor stand can be 8-12 inches deep. Removing it and using an arm can free up 50-80% of the space beneath your monitor. This extra room is perfect for keyboards, notebooks, speakers, or just a cleaner look. It’s especially valuable on small desks.
Q: Are gas spring monitor arms worth the extra cost?
A: Absolutely. Gas springs provide smooth, one-handed adjustments without loosening a lever. They hold position perfectly and make height changes effortless. For daily use, a gas spring arm is a significant quality-of-life upgrade over mechanical spring or lever arms. The difference in feel and convenience is noticeable.
